I'm a sales guy for a couple of pnuematic companies. What are you looking for? 2-way, port size, 120v, ect...
If your not sure what you need you can discribe what you are trying to do.

Most of the ones I've used have been Mac 3-way, 12 or 24 Volt. Try searching ebay for mac 3 way solenoid valve, and you'll come up with a bunch of hits.

AHHHH...so your the one that's going to tackle the asylum door. Very cool...Again I represent a couple of companies but the one that i like most is Humphrey Products. All the parts that make up their products are made in the US which is rare in this day and age. A basic 3 way, 2position, Normally colsed, 1/8 ports, 120 psi, with 23" lead wire runs $24.23. You can get a L-bracket for easy mounting for an additional $3.04. These are quick valves that will open and close very fast. Visit the website for more info.

    Hey kCharles,

I like to recommend STC valves for haunt applications. I have no affiliation with them, they just came out on eBay a few years ago, but they have been quite reliable (my experience anyway), and you can get brand-new units very cheap, with whatever voltage you specify. (12vdc/24vdc/120vac)

If you don't mind elaborating a bit on the setup of how your prop is going to work, I would glady assist in your decision as to which valve(s) to get (if you need to work out any Cv rates, psi, cylinder size, stuff like that, I can help with that too)....

    Cheers!

    Keith,

Yes the valves can be stacked. Either on a manafold or a sandwhich style. I've attached a picture of what a group of 4 way valves look like sandwhiched together. I also included a data sheet the shows that Cv flow rates for Humphrey's solenoid vavles.

By the way...I hope that i didn't come off as some a-- hole just trying to sell you something. I truly am only trying to help. If you do require assistance with sizing let me know. Finally, a company called Womack publishes a "Fluid Power Data Book" that has everything you want to know about pneumantics. It only 63 pages and it come in really handy.
