well, first off, found a bunch of free styrofoam at work, (where by the way, my friend named me the dumpster diva) wanted to make a cheap but nice looking tombstone, saw the thread about drylock and some one from Austrailian asked what to use in place of dry lock, and was told sand and paint, well have a partial gallon of white semi gloss interior paint, took some sand type soil from behind hubbys pole barn, and mixed it with the paint, made it quite thick.I needed to use three coats on it to make it look like I wanted, - am not real happy with the way the letters cut out, the insulation foam would work better, needed to take 1 inch pieces of regular styofoam, and glue them together with liquid nail,. out side of the lettering, the tombstone itself turned out good, the sand paint mixture looks good, feels like stone, and the totally best part, it was free!!
