This is my version of the peeker. The skull is painted in the yellow to react to UV light which I will illuminate him with. The letters are soooo large because he will be about 20 ft away from the sidewalk and I want people to be able to read it.
This whole build was done with leftovers. I used a wiper motor from Monster Guts (Great price, can't beat it) that was originally for my Zombie Butler Build (Went with a deer motor instead). The skull is from a Blucky (what else for me!) that was to be for my Zombie Blues Brothers Build (Having a hard time getting the accessories, next year). The foam is from my other stones (I buy large sections at a time). The hands are of course Crayola Model Magic.
I wanted an up down motion and was stumped on how to do it. Then looking at my car it hit me. A Piston! A piston moves in the motion I need. So I basically duplicated that motion. The Head is on a PVC tube which slides up and down on a dowel. Simple build really, fun too. Pretty happy, I hope it will go over well.

Very nice! Yet another project to try in the future. I would love to see it in the dark in action. Once again job well done.

I like it, great job. I like the little head shake he does on the way back down...almost like he's going "heee heee heee"

It WILL go over really well. Any movement in a display, on Hallowe'en Night, no less, will be greatly enhanced by the heat of the moment. NIce job.
