Just going over the lighting details for our set-up this year. We're usimg a total of seven 48" Black Light tubes. Two outside at the Treat Distribution Area, five inside the Mad Scientist's Lab.

Anybody else as crazy as me?>

I used two strip lights last year and loved the effect. Plan to use them in my garage scene this year and another one in an upstairs bedroom window on a ghost figure.

I have a total of 6 black lights that i use for now. They range from 48" down to a small portable 8" or 10" that i can place anywhere. I found the hard way that the flood blacklights do NOT work well at all. I would love to have a Chauvet LED wash blacklight one day but they seem so damned expensive......for the time being!

We are gonna have 5 tubes in the house this year...then have a few of the new flourescent bulb blacklights...those worked pretty well, and were easily accessible from lowes or home depot! We are making the hallway to our guest bathroom into a "dot" room, so will use two of them in there. The whole hallway will be covered in black plastic and flourescent dots. Will be funny to see people try to find the actual bathroom.

Woud love to see pictures of your lab have you posted anything this year that I missed? How about last year's?

I agree the black light bulbs DO NOT work. At least never have for me and I've bought every kind I could find.

I have trhee that I use.
One for my fcg-and 2 for my ghost in the windows.
This year I am adding one to my bubble fogger with uv soulution that is in the cauldron.

I currently making a number of black light / blue spots for my tombstones.

I have two 6 foot black lights that I use with my FCG. If I have a party I use several others in various areas of the house to highlight decor. So that would be a yes.

What bubble machine are you using? I was thinking of using the same effect in my graveyard.
