I am starting a new prop design and need some mechanical help. The prop is a swing with a small child body and a Linda Blair (exorcist) head. The prop will swing back and forth while singing the song from nightmare on elm st. one two freddys coming for you ect... after a timed interval it will stop swinging and the head will spin once stop start swinging again and continue singing. I need some advice on how to create the swing mechanism, I have several slow rpm motors, limit switches ect.. I hope someone has tried this type of mechanims and could help.

I built a swinging skeleton several years ago and I run it in the yard the whole month of October. It's always a big hit with the neighbors and kids.
All I have is a video, I never really took any still pics. The video shows how the mechanism works.
If you have any questions, I'd be glad to answer them.

Sorry that I can't help as I'm mechanically challenged. I just wanted to say "FREAKIN AWESOME" prop concept!!! That is going to scare the crap out of a lot of people!
Is it Halloween yet?

That is eerie!!! I LOVE IT! I keep hearing that creepy kid choir from the end of the 'Poltergeist' movie while I watch him/her swing! Awesome!
Tonight is the night when dead leaves fly, like witches on switches across the sky.
