I use computer power supplies. These have multiple uses for different voltages, 5v 12v 3v etc. Have plenty laying around from old computers. You could just use a 12volt adapter plug that turns 120v to 12v.

I'm using a wall-wart with adequate amps and a appropriate voltage to slow the rotation.
What doesn't kill you can still make you walk funny.

On a computer power supply, red is 5V Yellow is 12, and orange is around 3, you can use either to run a wiper motor as they both put out a lot of amps, 5 will turn it alot slower i believe. you will also have to short the green wire to a black wire to activate the power supply.
wall warts are the small power supplys that come with everything, and come in all different voltages. they are the annoying black box you need to plug in and rarly ever fit in a power strip, with out wasting at least 2 outlets
