So.....another stone.....this one is a part of an epitaph from an actual stone found in a New England Cemetery (another 360 degree stone):

And my fun with the Budget Bart Skeleton continues....corpsed a second. This one I used a oak style stain on the bones after mounting his torso and then used the panty hose and latex carpet adhesive to corpse. Followed with a medium walnut stain on the skin areas.

Great stone and groundbreaker!! I don't do full 360 tombstones but normally at least paint the back to match. You're taking it to a whole new level of realism. Great job!

Thanks guys. Working on another stone right now, this one is the tallest stone I have made and is being designed with the taller ground breaker in mind to give him a good back drop. You know, when it comes to the backs of stones and depending on your display you can keep it simple or go more elaborate depending on how you use your stones and since mine is a walk through so backs are exposed I decided to take it up a notch. Also, researching many of the New England cemeteries, I have found that the backs of stones were often used to record additional data on the deceased, a poem from a loved one or other information.....hmmmm.

Thanks Crazy. Working on a new stone just for the taller groundbreaker, will stand about 3 1/2 - 4 ft tall!
