Okay, so I want to do a gypsy tent scene this year. So far, I'm planning a covered tent with the Madame Leota set-up using a projector aimed at a Spirit animated crystal ball, and some sort of table with a Ouija board or Tarot cards outside of the tent where two actors will be. I would love some input on how to make this scene more effective. I figured that if "Show us your tombstones" or "Let's start a witch thread" would work, maybe this one would, too?

I love that Witch From Canada, that is a great set up. How did you do the Ouija board moving like that?
And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting

Witch from Canada--Thanks so much! This is exactly what I'm hoping to achieve. I'm definitely going to try to build a moving Ouija board, too. Great setup! The owl is a nice touch.

we used our old gazebo for this project inside we put black tarp to protect from rain and wind but the roof wasnt too much waterproof so used tapr on it too to protect from rain ...the front as you see i teared away the screen but i kept it on the sides and back because otherwise the gazebo as not much body frame anymore.....the ceiling was done inside with 1$ store plastic table cloth when i first started making the ceiling i never tought it would actually look good but suprisingly it did...and a cheap project too and reusable the gypsy is a very old gemmy prop and suprise it still works LOL i just wish i was good enough to make her arms move over the ball ...

the ouija is a great addition i am very gratefull dave made this for me ...

hauntfordad, welcome to the forum. I LOVE your gypsy scene from last year.

I am trying to come up with ideas for a gypsy witch for this year. I am doing witches for my overall theme for our Boo Bash, plus I am having a separate witches onlyl party for females based on the ones done here by the talended other ladies. I don't have a lot of money to spend on props and have been collecting clothing from GW and thrift stores, plus masks, etc. I am trying to make some simple props. I really want a scene like this.

Both Hauntfordad and Witch in Canada: Tell me about your crystal ball. Did you make it or buy it. How did you light it. Any ideas would be helpful.

    Great scenes.
