I am building a bloody fountain, and I have been using Gorilla glue to attach all of my skulls around the outside of the bowl, but they don't seem real tight. I'm about to begin working on the actual fountain part, and I want to make sure that whatever I use to attach all the pieces is strong enough not to come off once I have "blood" running over it.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what waterproof adhesive I need to get for that? Also, is there something that I can use to reinforce the 36 mini skulls to the bowl? They won't actually be getting wet, but I don't want them coming off either!

2-part epoxy is god's gift to construction. Walmart sells multiple types.

I use the Liquid Nails Construction Adhesive. (It's in tube for use in a caulking gun.)
It holds really well and it's permanent.

Whatever works in aquariums would work too since it's waterproof & non toxic...can't remember what it's called though....aqua stik I think.

It's a 2 part putty, mix the 2 parts, stick it all together.

Thanks for the great tips, guys. I assume that I should be able to find most of these things at a hardware store?

I would either use the aqua stick or the 2-part epoxy because your prop will be in contact with water a lot.

If you use silicone, make sure it's paintable

what's the bowl made out of? go from there.

all the above are good. construction adhesive is inexpensive, and great for connecting flat things, it hardens with no give - little dabs of it can be brittle. ymmv.

silicone and epoxy sound like good ideas, based on materials used (?)

plumbers goop is an all around fixant.
can you run a tek screw (tech screw? sp) up from underneath? any kind of screw, really.
hollow skulls or solid? aluminum pop-rivet?

if you want to never move it again *(never)*, try 5200. longer dry time in any thickness. but it's used underwater in boat hulls, and is ~$12 a tube (versus 3 bucks for liq nls)
