Inspired by the Creepy Guy created by DeathTouch on Hauntforum I created my cheap and easy version using mostly stuff I had and cobbled it together.

The guy I used comes with Skull arms and legs with spikes you can put in the ground, bought him last year at Walgreens half price, but he is a target.com for $16.99 if you want to see him.

I made an armature from 1/2 pvc and fittings I already had on hand, hence the use of a 4 way at his neck when a three way would have sufficed

Where I took out the stakes, I wrapped heavy wire with pipe insulation which I sliced vertically so it would be small enough to fit in the holes, glued the wire in the middle of the section, then wrapped it with masking tape so I could shove it through the hole in the bones and the pvc. YOu can used whatever method to make your own attachment wires. I guess I could have drilled holes in the end of the bone and the pvc and attached it that way, except for the head.

To give him a body and to make the bumps for his spine, I cobble together pieces of pink foam I already had, hence all the little pieces are actually holding together larger pieces and are used as fill. I poked holes in the base of the foam to run wires through to tie it to the pvc frame.

Sorry I forgot the camera was on movie mode. Here is the body attached before I covered it with masking tape.

I covered the pink foam with masking tape so the bumps would look like bone when they peeked through the black cloth I wrapped around it and to give it more substance when covered, sorry forgot the photo. After draping the black cloth, I cut paper clips in half and shoved them through the cloth into the foam to keep it in place.

I added the stand pieces front and back as this guy is not strong enough to hold himself up. Painted black they won't show too much at night. I will drill holes in the feet so I can stake him down into the ground.

So here he is with hemp hair and creepy cloth ready to eat a nice fat chihuahua which he has baited with a delictible chipmonk chew toy.

This will be my last installment of "Cheap and Easy" hope you have found them helpful. If you like to corpse, this guy would be easy to work with, for my purposes he is fine right out of the box.

Yeah, that dog looks pretty terrifying too!

This place always amazes me with the ingenuity of it's members. From foam, pvc, or cardboard & paper everyone seems to make the coolest stuff outta what seems like trash or just random bits!
