I want this prop so badly, Im druling over it. The detail is amazing. Probably their best prop on the line this year. But also the most expensive animatronic. =/ For Almost $300.00 Im debating as to whether getting it is a waste of money or not.
Anybody else stuck with the same situation?

Hi!!! I am so stuck in the same situation as you are. Pinhead is the only new Gemmy movie maniac prop this year. I mean I understand that there is Michael, Jason, and Freddy too but they're all remakes. Pinhead looks really awesome!!! But he has no body or arm movements. Just head, mouth, and eye movements. And hey, his Lament Configuration box lights up too!!! But again, what happened to them being only $249.99??? Now they expect us to pay $279.99 and with tax by the state of California in all would be about 25 or 30 dollars so that makes him expensive. I'm trying to get the 20% coupon from entering the sweepstakes but is still being processed. So in all probably a 80 - 90% chance that I'm getting him!!! The coupon eliminates about 40 or 50 bucks so I find that to be very convenient and good. Oh yeah, and by the way, did you notice that each store only gets two of each??? 1 for display and 1 for sale!!! I mean for the Michael last year, my store had exactly 8 of them and I never got one LOL!!! Have a great day!!!! - Noel

Hey if it makes you happy. Its worth the money. Can you buy it the day after Halloween at a discount? All those Gemmy props look pretty good even up close.

Sadly no. One discount per person, and it expires on October 30, 2010 and is not valid on any other promotional offer.

The coupon expires at the end of October. You can use multiple coupons, but the cashier has to ring each item up separately (sorta a pain for them) and they suggested paying cash when doing it this way.
In terms of Pinhead, totally over-priced, unless you can hack the audio and connect RCA's out to a mixing board so he can be amplified really loud.

I wouldn't count on anything being left after Halloween....I don't even go out the day after in my area anymore because all the cool stuff is gone by then....ZR

I love pinhead. Hellraiser 2 was my favorite horror movie of all time (Until I saw The Ring).
$279 for that is stupid high. He looks just ok. The best part is the audio. The box lights up? Its not supposed to light up. He doesnt move but for his head?
Meh.
Maybe I'm a perfectionist. I just dont think its worth the money, for how it looks/what it does.
