Thread: Barnboard ideas??

Aside from coffins, can you folks toss out any ideas of what could be made with barnboard? I'm about to score myself a nice pile of it from a honkin' big barn that's being demolished across the street from my house.

Crosses for rugged "western" style cemetary graves, outhouse with a skeleton inside (seated), shipping crate for a monster in a box, rugged cemetary fence, put a few together and make some shudders to give your house a dilapidated look, SIGNS, "beware". "welcome", "trick-or-treat", "go away", etc.

Or if that doesn't fit your theme, how about like a small shack, lean-to, or a laboratory with props in it?

Great ideas! I love them all!
I was mulling over something along the same lines as the outhouse, but more like a mini-derelict old house...something just big enough to "house" an FCG outside.

could also use them for walk-thru walls, crypt, ditto to the above ideas, jack in the box, a pirate bar, or I saw a neat one for Indiana Jones tiki bar on instuctables.com, cages, dog house for some demon dog, use scraps for the TOT candy bowl, dilapidated witches or voodoo hut.

My wife just thought of another along the shack idea. How bout something like a smoke house for curing meat but when you look inside the carcasses don't nessesarily look like "animals"!?!? (wink wink, nudge nudge, body bags)

Cemetary Caretaker shed might work also.

Use them to board up your windows of your house...wish I could get my hands on some barn wood...

personally, I'd make a new kitchen table!

if you have a bunch, you can take 4 of them, and build "box beams" that can be the core or basis for a lot of stuff:
columns, beams, etc.

what about a haunted mining town? cave entrance, sluices, etc?
