Everybody's all about getting fog machine output to cling to the floor....but how can I get it to cling to the ceiling?
I want to see if I can get an effect similar to a sky full of cloud that I can use a lightning effect with...I think it would look awesome in my garage haunt.
Any ideas?

That will be difficult I think to maintain the temperature gradient required, how high are the ceilings?

How bigs the room? My first thought was if it was a small enough room you could secure clear plastic tarp about 6 inches down from the ceiling (would have to be air tight) with clear packing tape and have the fog machine pipe the fog into this void, if the room is dimly lit the plastic tarp probably would not be seen. Maybe even low wattage colored light to give the fog itself an eerie glow.

FracturedDS : it's a standard 7 or 8 foot height.
Halloween2012 : I was thinking something along those lines, too...doubtful if I can afford that much plastic tho. This damn house has literally put us in bankruptcy, so cash is non-existent. I'm trying to improve over last year (1st haunt ever) with NO budget at all. Fun fun fun."I have a secret...........I see stupid people....and they don't know they're stupid..."

well if heat rises, maybe you can heat the ceiling some how so the fog sticks to the ceiling.

Maybe run a pvc tube up the wall & across the center of ceiling with holes in it, the only thing I could think of to get it up there, maybe if it is fogged enough constantly it would create a blanked.
How long it would stay or start to sink away from ceiling & start to fill up the room....????When you look in the mirror at midnight,....what looks back at you.........
