I remember reading an article in Mother Earth News many years ago describing how to build a hoop/ring structure that I've always thought would be perfect for home haunters. I finally found the magazine and then found that the magazine has the article posted online: http://www.motherearthnews.com/Green...tructures.aspx
The magazine and its readers/authors are big fans of making do cheaply with what they've got (sound familiar?) but I think this guy takes it too far with the heated vegetable oil. You can buy PVC with expanded openings on one end, and the pegs he makes to hold the thing to the ground sound like too much work. So the good news is you can make one of these even easier than he did 26 years ago, and it will store in almost no space at all the other 11 months of the year.
Hope someone can use this info.
