Just finished my Scarecrow, yes, I will put pants on him in future. Most of it is from Dollarama, even the shirt. Cost, less than 30$ in total. Not bad, need more fixing.

Do you have any suggestions? Do you like him with or without the hat?

    Please gimme me input!

I like a straw hat, but not sure if I like THAT hat. Maybe one a little larger in the brim and more tattered. And I would kill the flower. Makes it look more clownish than scary. Just saying.

This is a great idea for a prop and I love those oversized hands. Very creepy.

I agree - the straw hat & flower makes him look a little fruity/camp!

I think you do need to get a shabby hat and maybe have some straw/hay sticking out from underneath the brim and from the wrists. Good prop though - will look great in the dark!

I'd rough up/tear the shirt too.

Scratch the bonnet and the flower. Unbutton at least the top button on the shirt and let it age and tear.

I agree let his stuffing hang out a bit and I'd probably turn the foam head around. His face is fairly flat right now and maybe he'd be more scary with more depth to his face.
