Not sure if this is where this thread should go, but these pics of the tombstones are great ideas for new ones. I just wanted to share them. If I get a chance I want to make a few this year from some of the designs. Most of the tombstones here are dated 1870 's+. There was a lot of child stones which is really sad, one family lost 4 children. The weathered detail is great.

THis reminded me of tons of photos that I took in old cemeteries when I visited South Carolina last year. THey were so facinating. I was amazed at how superstititous the people are out there and all the stories of ghosts and spirits. They even paint the ceilings of the porches blue to keep the haints away. LOL
