Here is the final version of my tombstone peeker. Thanks to all those pioneers who showed off their mechanics prior to mine. I had to switch out the bucky head for a Lindberg skull due to the weight. Now it is stable and reliable (have I sufficiently jinxed myself yet?). It was fun to practice some new corpsing techniques, too. Regifting those panty hose...

Now, on to the air cannon and fence.

I like it! A little extra creepy when the head peaks through the center of the stone.

That is great!!! How did you do the corpsing? I know there are several methods to do it and am biting my fingernails in fear wanting to do one of my own.

Corpsing as follows:
1) Black spray paint to the hightlight areas (i.e. temples, eye sockets, etc.)
2) Pull foot part of panty hose over head nice and snug. Cut holes into the stretched out panty holes with razor of scissors.
3) Apply layer of latex over entire skull. Once almost dry, pull holes in latex to make peeling skin effect.
4) Apply desired shade of stain for rotting effect. I rub off exposed bone and teeth.
5) If desired, place crepe hair.
Chris Baker has a great video documenting his corpsing technique.

I really like this. The hole in the tombstone just adds so much to it, especially the blue light, illuminating the skull. Awesome work. Also, you can never have enough Princess Bride references!
