Hi all. Quick question; just how flammable are LEDs?

I'm thinking about trying to make a flickering lighted tombstone...but can the LED be placed inside the foam, or will it set on fire?

    Thanks for your advice guys.

LEDs typically run cool to the touch. They can get pretty hot if they're overdriven by using a voltage that's too high for the rated value. Lots of people use small LEDs in FCG foam heads and tombstones with no problems. Chances are the LED will blow before it becomes a fire hazard.
    I...have many names...

Yea, that's the great thing about LEDs. Illumination without the heat.
    You shouldn't have any problem.
