Thread: 3D Wall art - Robert Marino

Is anyone familiar with Robert J. Marino wall 3D wall hangings? I have two... originally bought at Hot Topic circa 1994.
I have done a lot of research but really, 1994 was before the internet was commonly used (i know! can you imagine?) bwahaha.
One of my items has a MetaPhysique Dark Illusions tag still on it but I couldn't find anything related to Marino there either.

I too have one of these props -- the same one you pictured -- and I love it. It has been one of the best props I have in my haunted house, although it took me a while to realize that the full fluorescent effect requires fairly frequent light replenishment. Anyway, I found your post because I, too, would like to find out if this guy has put out similar things. At this point, however, I haven't found him either...

I am always on the look out! I actually did find him and he had a few to sell but they were unfortunately out of my range (like $50 PLUS shipping).
I will keep on looking for the used ones =) Occasionally they pop up on Ebay.
I have a pic of another one (Dracula) in my album. I picked him up for $10!

One more thing... I use a black light positioned nearby. It looks fantastic.

The only thing I know about him is he is a hollywood special effects artist as an prosthetics creator & worked for the Todd Masters Company. He was on the FX crew of "Nightmare on Elm Street" & "Return of Swamp thing".
I remember he had a few of these type of Items released & seeing them at Hot topics.........

thx, dave. I found him but the price was out of my league. I do love his work tho. pretty amazing.
