This is my first experience with using the Mache clay. I have to say the finish looks pretty cool as skeleton bones. I think I will continue to make the rest of my props out of metal. No sagging! Anyway let me know what you think of it good or bad.

Looks great! Did you buy the clay or make it yourself?

That's good looking stuff. Can you do any fine shaping when it is dry, i.e. sanding or the like?
Can't wait to see your finished product!

That looks pretty cool. It makes me think about one of the cruel "experiments" Delphine LaLaurie performed on her slaves, breaking their bones and resetting them so they healed crab-like like this. Truth really is stranger than fiction.

I don't know yet this is my first time using the clay. It's definitely hard as a rock when it dries though. I would guess that it would be able to be sanded or shaped.

Here is what I got done today, drying of course. More mache clay, it's a bit tedious but I'm happy with the finished product. Still 3 or 4 more hours of mache to go.
