Don't know if anyone has tried this yet, but it works great. I'm using wall mounted candle sconches as my main lighting source this year, so I needed something slightly brighter than tea lights. I took a string of X-mas lights and hooked up an FS-5 in line with a fuse, just like a standard flicker light. I took the X-mas lights in groups of 3 and placed them in PVC candles I made. Perfect! Not too much light, but gave a little better visibility than tea lights and had a very realistic flame effect. Try it out, it's cheap and easy!

I work on something for the how-to section. Thanks for the compliments. Again, very cheap. The lights were a 3' string of skull lights from the Dollar Tree ($1.00 of course) and the FS-5's are about $5.00 for a 2-pack. The sconce is scap wood I had.
