Thread: Ring around the Rosy

I have a little girl ghost manikin that I madeout of one of those doll makeup heads. We had it hanging last year but this year we want to make it more mobile. The thought is to make a track and have it "float" around the tumbstones in the grave yard. We had our granddaughter sing ring around the rosy for a sound track, now I have to figure out how to make the track. The doll with the costum on is about 36" high. Any ideas on how to do this?

I would think a floating candle rig would work if she isn't heavy or a bike rim.

That is a super creepy awesome idea! Do you plan on the song being ON her or playing out of a sound system? Just curious. I'm thinking not knowing where the sound is coming from would be extra creepy.

Phantom, When I originally had her hanging i taped a small mp3 player and single speaker under the gown but you couldnt hear it from the street. This year i am going to hook the mp3 player to computer speakers and play with sound reflections to see what works best.

znelson, I am out of town right now but i will post it next week. I want to do some sound editing to it and see what i can do with some reverb

i did an insane asylum last year and i used this creepy little gir;s voice that someone recorded and edited on this forum... ill have too see if i can find them for you... it was uber creepy!

Ok i did some searching through my posting history and i think the guy who did the creepy girls voice was shadowpal...
