Hi guys. I have limited artistic ability and no tools! Having said that, the theme of my haunt this year is "Eerie elegance at Morbid Manor". There's a whoooole long back story, but basically I'm aiming to turn my back garden into the Morbid Family Cemetary, and the brick-built shed is going to be the family crypt...if I can pull it off!

The shed has a window in which I'm planning to position a backlit ghost figure, but how do I turn the square, brick shed into something that resembles an elaborate, ornate crypt? Bearing in mind my limited abilities with anything DIY?!

If any of you have done a similar project, please help! And if you have photos that would be great, I'm in need of some inspiration

how about using this stuff to make the shed look like stone, easy to stick up and put away afterwards.

maybe drape this around the entrance, it'll catch the UV.

Use some fake ivy climbing up the shed

If you up-light it in dim red light, will it look blacker-er?

Try a facade! All you need is come plywood, and you can paint it whatever way you want, doesn't need to be all that complicated, maybe flat silver or something? And then, you can make little shelves on the plywood for flickering candles. There are lots of threads of facades, so hope that helps!

Thanks for the post That's sort of what I was thinking. I'm lucky in that the structure is already there so I don't have to build the structure...just spook it up a little!

I also like the idea of shelves for candles.

If I manage to pull this off I will definitely post photos. I would post a photo of the shed as it is, but I can't locate my camera USB cable at the moment :-(
