Hey I've decided on a mine theme this year which will involve a unique background story and many elaborate and unique scares. One that I feel is a must for this haunt is a train that appears to be about to run you over. I found an electronic train horn on eBay for pretty cheap...

...and was wondering what everyone thought. I thought I would then build what looked (at least somewhat) like the front of an old train and attach a headlight via a lightning fx box to activate with the horn. I also thought I could put it on wheels and an actor push it down the hallway after guests. What do you guys say? Anyone done a scare like this? Any other ways to do it? Im on a pretty tight budget so cheap=good!!

That's a great idea ! I've never done anything like that, but how about a video projection of a train on the side of your house using an LCD projector and some sound effects ?Maybe a fog machine near by for smoke effects ! You would just need to find a good video projection of a moving train. YouTube- SP 4449 Ran over me @ Tagus ND This ghost train is cool :http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=...w=1039&bih=439
