I'm going to have some good scares and creepy scenes in my display this year, but I really would like more animation of the props!

I'm not very good with pneumatics and air, so that most likely won't go well...

I'm looking for some easy ways to make my decorations move, so, do you have any easy ways to make props move?

    Thanks!

I think your best bet is to do some searching around on the How To Thread here on the forum. There's all kinds of props from simple to complicated that may give you some ideas. First, you need to decide just what it is you are wanting to make and go from there. Use the Search Thread feature on the How To Thread. You should be able to find all kinds of great ideas to get you started.

Search Shiatsu, these are easy and effective ways to animate stuff like a ground breaker. You can usually find them at thrift stores for about $10.

You will be surprised how easy it is to add a little animation to your props. Like you I have no interest in pneumatics either. Too much initial cash outlay for parts and I prefer the slower movements of motors.
Its so nice to be insane, no one asks you to explain...

Shiatsu massagers offer tons of possibilities. Check ebay and garage sales. You can find them cheap.

There are some ideas on my blog: http://allhallowsweb.com/?p=22
