So my sweet hair dresser of 9 years is moving to New York, and over the years we have learned that we both share a love for all things Halloween. My last appointment with her was Friday and she brought me these awesome heads!
So now the question is what to do with them. I’m not lucky enough to have the space, funds, or time to put into a home haunt, but we are planning on having our 2nd annual Halloween party so I definitely want to use them in the decor somehow. My first thought was to add blood and something to the bottom of the necks to make them look severed, but I’m not so much into the gore aspect of Halloween. I'm definitely far from the cutsy stuff, I guess I like more of the dark gothic creepy side.
Any ideas how to creep out these lovely ladies?

You can paint them up as creepy statue busts rather easily. That would be plenty gothic in style. Glue on some costume jewelry and lace around the collars and they could even be Victorian busts. Put the hair up into a simple style, spray it gray to match the statue, and you're finished.
If you really wanted to put the time in, you could alter them to be different horror/Halloween creatures: a vampire, a werewolf, a mummy, and a (zombie? Frankenstein's monster? other?). This would just be building up with air dry clay or fabric and painting it appropriately. Could be interesting accent pieces.

Trentsketch: I love the idea of doing the busts…I may try that. I just need to familiarize myself with what material to use. I’m thinking I could make a base out of a couple of layers of foam board, then do the actual bust part out of chicken wire or newspaper or something, then cover the whole thing with some sort of plaster material. Any thoughts on what to use?
Obcessed: Thanks so much for the for the link. I absolutely LOVE your Old Woman head. You’re very talented! What kind of paint did you use?

paint them to look Day of the Dead?
Zombie heads?
Well, it would help if we knew whether or not you had a theme?"We accommodate the living, but who shall accommodate the dead?"

Si-cotik: I don't really have a specific theme other than I'd like my decor to look like an old gothic castle or mansion. I would love to do a different theme each year, especially after seeing all the great ideas here, but unfortunately my lack of funds at the moment won't allow it. If it were a few years ago I could go crazy but not anymore.

Now me personally, I'd take all of those heads and paint the necks to look like they'd been severed, put them into clear plastic sacks (have some blood splatter - paint - inside the bags as well) and hang them from the shower rod in the bathroom and do a whole "serial killer" theme in there.

I plan on doing one of these either outside or in the bathroom (if we do end up doing a party):

those dummy heads would be AWESOME with the dripping head sack...I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002

Get a saw, cut off the top of the head of one of them and turn it into a candy dish. That is..if they are hollow

Frankie's Girl: I saw those blood sacks on that site before. I'm not all that much into the gorey stuff, but I really liked those when I saw 'em. Super inexpensive and easy to make.
And I like your bathroom idea, along with lots of other bathroom/shower ideas I've read here (I lurk A LOT more than I post!
) but I only have a powder room on the first floor where party guests will be so I don't have the luxury of a shower to work with.
