Finally got these lights we're all nuts over-
http://www.jackstoolshed.com/index/p...ext=led+swivel
Just like everyone else, I like them a lot. I found the best way to work with them is to use wood dowels to attach them too. I used wooden chop sticks since we have a ton, but the clips were most happy with a fairly small wooden dowel. Not too small though. Since no one did anything special with pics, I thought I'd help out in that department. I got R,G,B.
This is one blue light 5' in front of the prop- your typical grave popper.
Same with this one, in green
Same in red
Pretty damn good for 5' in front of the prop.
This is a multicolor setup. I used 3 red, one green, 3 blue. These were closer to the props in various places.
This one is approximating looking 20' in front of the display, kind of like if you're walking up to the house.
Another of this setup
Another three color setup. This used one light each- R,G,B. Notice how the red took on some blue to make pink.
Another setup with one green on the prop and one red and blue placed behind on the bushes to use THEM as a background. Not bad for one light a piece.
Same setup, but as if you were farther away-
Here's a shot with the pin lights visable to give you an idea of where they were placed
All in all these are great lights for their output. These WILL be a pain to turn on at night, depending on the extent to which you use them. They are delicate and finiky on the wood dowel. I would think a wire hack would make them even more of a pain to manuver and keep in place because of the wires. But they do make a beautiful display. We suffer for our craft anyway right? What's a little more suffering with pin lights!
I hope these pics help give an idea of what these little gems can do. Go now, and light the way!

They do a pretty good job. I got the ones from the DT last year and cut color gels and put in them. They do a good job, but the color isn't this good. Thanks for posting.

This REALLY helps a lot. I dislike buying lights before I really know what they can do. I think those look pretty good. Better than my homemade lights which I am going to rebuild this year if I get time. In the meanwhile I can buy these and then I can use my others as backup if I get time to fix them. Thanks for taking the time to set this up and take the pictures.

Not yet Yubney, I have about 30 of them and they use three of those button batteries each. I'll probably test one out in a couple of days when I have the ability to keep tabs on it and not miss out on when the battery life fades and the light dims.
