I started with
and ended up with:
All I did was peel off the label, score the lid to fit a tea light led candle, drip some hot glue, and hit with a little spray paint. Voila!
I go through a couple of these drink mixes a week so the only cost was the candles (Dollar Tree) and spray paint.

Wow. Those things look amazing. I like the tea lights better than the flicker bulbs, but I hate turning them all on and off. Someone needs to show me how to take said tea lights and hook them up to a transformer so I can wire them together and not have to worry about batteries!! Those look great! I love the candelabra base too!

Thanks!I should have enough to illuminate every tombstone in my graveyard by October and still have some left over.
Yes, CC, the cherry limeade is pretty good, although the lemonade is my personal favorite!
Pringles cans! Duh! (hits self in the head) I never even thought of using those!Dear Sweet Leota, Beloved By All. In Regions Beyond Now But Having a Ball...

Wow, looks great! I hadn't thought of doing that before. I'd love to see exactly how you fix the tea lights in place.

Rikki, what I did was trace around one of the lights and then make cuts across the circle with a utility knife (think cutting a pizza). It still has enough tension to hold the light in place but it is easy enough to remove it when you need to turn it on or off. Does that make sense?

Try paper towel or toilet paper towel rolls too! –

Nice work and good GREEN way to reuse those Wal-Mart drink containers. (we go through 6 a week)
I have a bag of paper towel and toilet paper towel rolls collected over a few months i use for my candles. I spray paint them black and add sparkels to give them some flair. I then go at it with my glue gun, just like you. Personally i like a lot more dripping of the wax!
*has anyone tried the colored glue guns stuff? glow in the dark ones too? does it stick just as well?I love the screaming!
