Its amazing how much talent is in this forum when it comes to home made props.
I only wish I had the creativity and talent so many of you possess. Anyways I was wondering if any of you make props and sell them to other people in the forum?
Would be interesting to know if any of you do for future purchases.

I have made tombstones for other local folks. I did 4 of them last year and have orders for 6 more this year. After materials and labor, I don't make a killing but I can use the money to buy small props or other building supplies. I'm careful not to get in too deep with piece work, as it cuts ino my own time, which is at a premium the closer to Halloween we get. so far the response to what I've made has been positive so I might expand at some point. I can make a stone much better than any store bought POC for a lot less than you'd pay at a Halloween outlet

I'll sell anything and everything in my haunt if people are willing to buy it. I have pictures on my profile.
"...And out of the darkness, the Zombie did call
True pain and suffering he brought to them all
Away ran the children to hide in their beds,
for fear that the devil would chop off their heads..."

I don't sell, but I make gifts. I like to make things and then give them away. I enjoy the creation process, after that well .... not much. Silly but true.
Making the world a funnier place, one blucky at a time

lol, I'm the opposite of BeaconSamurai! I do enjoy making things, but I have a hard time letting them go! I've been making small stuff on the side trying to make some extra Halloween money, but I never want to let go of my stuff.. haha. Definitely need to learn how!

Also check criagslist... i just search for 'halloween', and every now and then, something awesome shows up. Especially when home haunters move and cant or wont take their props with them. I actually just found 50 feet of homemade columns and fencing for like $100

I would sell some of my props for the right price but like beavervw, I too have a hard time letting go so I ask for a really high price to maybe scare buyers away.
