I have a Cowlacious Universal Fading Eyes controller that I can't get to work with a wall wart. The instructions just to use a 9-24vdc Supply attached to the brown(+) and black(-) wires. It works fine with a 9 volt battery hooked to the battery wires. What am I missing?
The instructions are one side of a piece of paper: http://cowlacious.com/manuals/lights...s%20Manual.pdf

What is the voltage and amperage of the wart, and are you sure the polarity is correct?

I am sure of the polarity as I tested the WW's with with a meter I tried 12vdc 500ma, and a 15vdc 1200ma. Think I need more current?

Definitely not more current - a pair of LEDs would need maybe 60 mA, tops. When you set R1 to the center position and adjust R3 (or is it R2?), do you get any reaction from the LEDs?

Absolutely no reaction at all. I have tried pretty much every possible combination of the two pots.

I have 3 or 4 of these boards and I found that on 1 or 2 of them one of the wires had a break in it . If I remember right it was close to the board , I just re- soldered it back on. I don't know if it came that way or possibly I broke the wire but it worked after that
