Is anyone else panicking that there are only 91 days left until halloween? I got a big haunt to do and started too late. I just moved and I could not get started until recently. Ouch!

Yes, I about panicked when I saw yesterday that there were only 92 days until Halloween! I want to jump into preparations right now, but I know I need to work my family up to it. At least I've initiated planning discussions with them and they've been pretty receptive so far, so I guess that's as good as I could ask.

I usually start my new props at the beginning of August. I think about them all year though.
I have three new ones that I am making this year.

We have plenty of time left. Relax!!!!!!

im very worried, ive been making a bottomless pit prop but the two-way mirror which is crucial for the prop has not arrived yet, i'm also very low on funds and i'm trying to find a timer or wireless remote for my new and first smoke machine.

I just do what I can do, knowing I will never finish my list by the big day. There is always next year.

I just used plexiglass and reflective mirror film. Both from Home Depot.
I built mine about 10 years ago and it is still doing fine.

My bottomless pit only took on Saturday to build using stuff from Home Depot.

i did consider using mirror film but in the uk it is harder to find and more expencive, well it is for me, the two way mirror should only be a week tops.

I'll finish my main haunt just fine. It's the other two I run that I'm screwed for. I feel bad about the third haunt because it's always the afterthought. Last year, I fixed up haunt 2 real nice by putting in two weeks on it and adding some great lighting; haunt 3 got some lights on the roof and that's it.

I've been working on stuff since last November 1st and will still not have some things finished I think... always something more.
