I had a bunch of left over wood from my Wonderland Box, so I decided to put it to good use! My Grandpa is an avid woodworker and he loves to make stuff out of wood, so when I can combine my passion for Halloween and his passion for wood working it is usually a fun time in the garage!

I've never turned a bowl before and compared to the bowls my Grandfather makes the workmanship is horrid, but it was pretty fun and my mind is already spinning with different possibilities! I didn't spend much time gluing/planning out the design because I was unfamiliar with the whole process, but it still looks pretty cool!

From the pics it looks really good. Nice job. Also, where did you get that sweet Ouija board?

hehe thanks, and I made the board Just never got around to making a post about it.. haha! The board was scrap plywood cut to size and I made a template design in adobe illustrator.. I found an original Ouija board image for the corners and added different text and then printed it out and traced onto the wood with carbon paper. Then painted it in! The font is Adams Family.. one of my FAVS

That's above & beyond my abilities. I do not have the woodworking gene. I have the "tries not to lose any extremities to the power tool" gene.

Both the bowl & board are awesome.
