Can anyone help me with locating a fluid pump? I am looking for a small pump that has an input barb and an output barb on it. Not a submersiable!! Somthing that can be used for pumping halloween punch. Any direction or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Steve

Most auto parts stores will sell a 12v windshield washer replacement pump that is configured like what you're looking for. Strong pumper with adequate volume. Don't know if you would want to drink out of it though!

Thank you all for the advice I really appreciate it. I have looked at a fountian pump but they all seem to be submersiable. I cant find one that has an inlet and outlet that I could hook tubing to. The washer fluid pump is a cool idea yet its for a diningroom table so I want something that can plug into a house outlet. The boat pump is an ingenious idea yet battery operated too
. I guess I will keep hunting the net, ebay and asking around. Thanks again and if anyone thanks of something else please let me know, Steve

How about an aquarium pump similar to:

This one is a little pricey, but maybe something on ebay.

You are over looking something about the RV and Wiper pump. They both will run off household current. Power them with a wall wart, 9 to 12 volts and you can usually get the wall wart at your local thrift store. Better yet, do you have a old printer, or cordless phone laying around? Use the wall wart from one of those, if its DC (which I bet it is).
Another thing you can check out is a electric Siphon pump (waterbed) and maybe a Water Pick

The house plug is not a problem. If, for example, you wanted to use the washer pump which is 12 VDC, simply wire a 12 volt wall wart to it and you're in business.
