The hearse is done mostly,so now on to other things, I whipped this out today in the ac, (it is 110 degrees here today), thank god for the pool table. I got some cardboard from work and cutout the pieces, duct taped together with a few small wood pieces on the inside and stapled to the wood blocks. Painted with acyrilcs to look like old wood and hinged the top with duct tape too. Took about an hour to complete. I am going to use inside the hearse with a small popup skelton. This was really easy I think I will make a few more maybe the half size for coming out of the ground.
It is light weight and I can stand up inside, would be a good scare spot. Of course it won't work in the rain, but there are lots of other options.
Here are the directions:
cut 4- 14"x14" pieces- 3 for the top sides and 1 for the bottom end
2 -14"x49 "pieces for the sides
2 - pieces 14"at top & bottom , 65 1\2 " long and 28 1\2" across the wide part near the top
tape the sides, top sides & bottom end together and sit on top of your large sheets of cardboard and trace out to make it easier to get the pattern for the bottom & top.
