Thread: Newbie props

Here are some of my props, the gate is almost done,thinking to ad little skuls on top of the bars from the gatedoor,but not sure.

The White styrofoam Celtic cross is close to a finish I think.
It's indeed great to use,still searching for foamboard,but this will do just as nice.
I do think it's pretty impossible to ingrave letterings & or figures tho into white styrofoam, you need foamboard to do that I'm affraid.

Like I've said this is my 1st year of serious Halloweening,so I'm learning as I go.

Will post some pic's of my coffin later.

Celtic cross


(4 thin white styrofoam boards glued on top of each other & cut out)


After a few spray's of grey/zilver & black paint


I have already painted it with grey paint mixed with fine sand,but don't have pic's of that yet)

Looks very realistic. you could add vines and roots around the gates

Right now I have a mask in it that has a stroboscoop behind it,with red plastic on it,to make it scarier... behind the closed half part of it,but not sure if i'll keep it that way.

Dimensions on the pincher look correct. Some I've seen seem to be a bit off... I traced my body for mine.

I have done it on sight (after lying on the bottom ),this was my 2nd attempt to be honest.
the 1st was "looking strange",like yo say... a bit off.
