This maybe answer but is there a way to trigger a door to music?

I have a clown room and it has two double doors that will remain slightly ajar...I wanted creepy clown music to play when someone enters the room.

Is that possible?

I am a noob when it comes to electrical triggers so the simpler the better.

Or if someone can give me an alternative that would help to.

You could do this with magnets that when the circuit is broke would trigger the music. Or a simpler idea is to use a beak beam, PIR sensor, or pressure mat set to a sound controller that activates when someone passes through it or steps on it.

Also use a motion sensor with pc speakers plugged in, wire that to your mp3 or cd player & loop it, set the sensor & the speakers will turn on when they walk thru the doors.
If you are not set on a specific sound activated at the right time for a scare.
Or as Industen suggested by buying a sound controller & sensor.......

You can use door home alarm two piece contacts. They work with low wattage speakers or mic wiring.
