How do most of you set up or arrange your tombstones in your haunt? Random placement or more like in a real cementry? I group by the themes of my stones and set up small sections through out with paths all around and a center attraction.

Hey! I like the arrangements! The head stones look great too. I as well put the stones in a themed area. I ahve a few that work hand in hand with another, so they definatley go together. I think I might try more of a random effect on the majority of the stones this year tho. My thought is that whatever way you choose, just ensure you have order to the chaos. (not to many in one area / seperate but equal spacing / etc.). In other words, make it look like it was meant to be there.

I just try to cover the area in question, with them pointing in various directions so people approaching from different angles have something to see.

To be honest, my tombstones are placed as an afterthought based on where there's open space

The one I plan on putting together this year is just meant to be in a small space, so thye are going to be pretty close together and in different angles/directions.

Mine look like random placement, but I actually set them up fairly specifically. Animated and favored static props are usually set to best advantage of my lighting. The more mundane stones are near the back more as filler. I also have a bunch of flickering candles and pumpkins scattered around.

ive always tried to keep the stones in a row but each row is stagered so they dont block each other, and facing the side walk. most stones are leaning to make it look as though they have been therre for a long time.
whats your name?I couldnt hear it very well last night when i was hiding under your bed!

I try a more random placement so that each stone is visible between the other minimizing the viewing obstuctions. They can be place 6-8ft apart which is sufficient spacing to me.
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

I tend to put the smaller ones in front and the larger ones in the back, all spaced so they block each other as little as possible.
