I found this page while Googling for spider props, so I can't take any credit for this. But if I can get the resources together, I'd love to do something like this:

This picture is my inspiration this year for my house. i found that picture last year right before halloween and bought a bunch of spiders at the end of the season at target and walmart. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to get the spide webs and spiders to stick to my vinyl siding.

Very Cool! Displays like that are so inspiring. I wonder if that was a group effort or if one person is responsible...

I do have a couple of giant spider props that are similar to the ones shown in the pics; I've dreamt of doing something like this for ages. But I don't think the apartment manager where I live now would be too keen on the idea, even if I tried it on a smaller scale. D'oh.

Maybe I could wrap myself in webbing and attach one of my spider props to my back as a costume instead...

I remember someone did the spiders on the side of their house last year. It looked great and I wanted to do this but ran out of time. I did however put up a few on my wall in the family room above the fireplace. That is alot of webbing and really looks fantastic, a few lights on it and that is all you need.....easy clean up for sure lol!

Awesome! always nice to see when someone puts in some effort and comes up with a great display.

there is a house in my town that is new that has huge spiders all over it for halloween that are made out of pvc leg,s climbinng all over the house and it has spiderman sitting on there porch roof , its awsome you can see the house from the highway the spiders are so huge
