Is a 2 gallon air compressor enough for an air cannon?

as a woodworker, I'd be more concerned with the noise. (I have a sound-deadening-cabinet for mine, and though I don't use it for Haloween, have about 250 ft of hose.

Your only concern is recharge time, and noise (is yours holding 125psi?)

Unless your cannon volume is large, your only worry is the compressor accidently turning into a corpse.

RTFM, it's probably rated for 30% intermittent use. Do the math, or at least a test run. have fun.

It should work if you have low TOT traffic but if you have a great number of triggers goin off it may not work so well... Ur-dedd is also correct with the noise issue, it would be best to get hose to relocate the compressor away from the area of placement or the sound-deadening-cabinet. Best of luck to ya!

I added a 10 gal reserve tank that I got at Harbor Freight to help with mine. I built a sound box to fit over mine. It is made out of two layers of offset peg board with insulation between the sheets on the street side. I run a 100 ft hose and you can hardly hear it out front.
