What can I say?? I'm wishy washy.. I value all of your opinions so, I hope you don't mind me asking..
I bought this at a thrift store. It was painted a lavender color. I thought it would look good in my vampire's lair so, I brought it home, painted it black and added some silver to it. I think it turned out kinda cool. Here is a pic.



Now the question... Should I paint the gold mirror I found the same way or leave it alone? It will be in the same area of the house... What do you think??

In my opinion - paint. The small piece looks fantastic and I think the mirror would look excellent in the same finish!

Depends on your theme. It does look cool gold sort of Magic Mirrorish, but if you are going dark vampire I'd say paint it as the other turned out sweet.

Agreed...looks very cool gold but if the other decor is the black then I'd say paint it.

I'd paint it the same way as the scrolly thing (looks great BTW). I love mirrors and am so jealous of your thrift store find! Cant wait to see it finished

Thank you all for your input.. I still haven't decided for sure but, I'm leaning towrds painting it.
Oh, and thanks for the compliments on the mirror.. I was tickled when I found it laying in an ally.. I bought the other piece at the thrift store for 2.99. I think it's supposed to hang over a doorway but I'm going to use it to either frame the top or the bottom of a really cool Vampire poster I bought.

Depends a lot on your lighting too. Might lose some detail in low light if you go too dark. Be worth testing the small piece first, in similar conditions.
