Yahoo my order from Spirit Halloween just arrived! Talk about some awesome rubber bats! Oh they look so REAL...... can't wait to get started on the "bat cage" and get them in and on it to see how it works out. I have looked all over for real looking bats, and wow am I happy that I decided to give these a try. They are great! I will try and get some pictures posted of them so you can see what you think.
    Have a great day....

Glad to hear that you are happy with your bats. It's always good to get feedback on props etc.

I don't know if these are the same bats you got. I got 2 of these from Spirirt last year. My 2 year old son wanted to sleep with them everynight until we got the Spirit Rats.

When storage is a concearn, put your monster props under the kids beds.

How many did you get and how large is your cage?

Bwah ha ha, I love to hear stuff like this. I'm raising future haunters myself. It's like I always say: Raise 'em up right and some day they too will be pulling the heads off dolls and applying red paint to the necks.

Those are really nice bats. I have 7 of them that hang in an old dogwood tree on Halloween night. With a slight breeze, they look like they're moving. Watch Walgreens too. They carry the same ones for about 8 bucks.

I need to get some of those bats. And thanks for the walgreens tip. I'll be checking there for sure. Also have many trees that they could be displayed in. For your cage are you going to use any lighting in it? I can just picture the bats in there with a strobe light flickering.
halloween is a super cool holiday.

I bought a few of those same bats from Big Lots a few years back and added to my collection last year. Hard to say if they will be carrying them again this year. Think I paid $15 each. They are latex and nice and like you said pretty realistic looking. I also bought a few of the latex flying bats, similar look and most likely same manufacturer as the hanging ones, which can be suspended by the attached 3 black strings and wire ring. Those were a bit more as I recall. I do love the look of them.

I agree that kids shoud be warped, my 3 1/2 year old is a Halloween freak, makes a Mom proud. The 10 year old has way too many opinions on my props though. Her way or the highway. She does have good ideas though,
