After reading that some of my local stores were putting out halloween stuff already I stopped at Tuesday Morning and found two cherub/angel garden statues made of resin i guess and they were perfect for using with tombstones. What is the best way to attach and blend the statues to the gravestones? Thx in advance for your help!

Drill holes into the bottom of the statues and the top of your stone, then just run a piece of pvc between the two and glue. You can blend them with whatever you normally paint the stones with. This is assuming the stone is large enough to support the statue.

well, im not sure i can fit pvc thru the tombstone at this point...i was thinking more along the lines of having the statue at the bottom corner? But i want that attached look...will monster mud adhere these two together? Does it work like a glue? I've never used it but want to get my hands dirty and see what it does lol
The statues are about 7 inches high by about 9 wide...there are some pics floating around of ones like it that people got from BigLots.

"monster mud" aka joint / drywall compound is a topping, has no glue properties & when dry can & will chip off easily.
Sealing it with Dryloc or a clear driveway sealer will protect it, but you will need to figure another way to connect the 2......
Maybe attach/glue the tombstone to a small piece of plywood at the bottom & with a ledge to the side you want the angle on & glue the angel to that.
Then use the mud to blend the two as one. Then seal with DryLoc.
When you look in the mirror at midnight,....what looks back at you.........

There are construction adhesives made especially for foam. I would try glueing the statue to the foam with that.

I use liquid nails a lot it works great there are two kinds make sure you get the one marked "heavy duty" not "projects". I also use "Dry-lok" a lot it makes everything look like it has a stone texture because it is thick and also because it has sand or granuals in it. I always like to do couple coats I think it is worth it. Hope this helps

I've used lots of Bondo on pink foam. It should work well as a glue if it has something to grip to, and can be packed along the bottom seem of the statue to blend it.

    I've already done as much.

I use gorilla glue to attach the stone and dry wall compound to blend.

How funny - I never attached mine.....I just made a slight indentation for them to rest in. It's too hard to store with the 2 angels attached, so hopefully they'll stay put - LMAO!
