I'm behind this year, but everything is starting to flow nicely! I worked on this thing today. It's made of a 1/2'' pvc frame with drip line tubing for the rib cage. I stretched spider web material over the ribs and soaked it with latex and stained it with Minwax cherrywood stain. It's far from finished, but I wanted to post it anyway to see what you all think. Keep in mind that even though the frame is rectangular, you won't be able to see the pvc pipe on either side. He will be wearing a shirt and jacked and the ribs will show through in places, but that's it. I was thinking of puting a light inside the ribcage, like a red or green one, but I'm not sure.
The hands are my first ever attempt at making corpse hands. They are made from cardboard, coat hangers, and masking tape and were covered with the spider web/latex combo. They weren't dry, so I couldn't stain them before I took the photos. I will build then up a little and "borrow" some of my daughter's press-on nails for the hands. Your comments are welcome! Like I said, it was my first time, so they aren't great, but they'll do.
The head is a hacked Gemmy skull. I made up a little speil for him to say on Audacity. Do you think I should add some "flesh" to the head or leave it the way it is??
