The prop I want to make should be very simple I'm sure. I'm just not sure how to go about it. We have a small room for our haunted house that we want to turn into an "elevator this year. The haunt is only one level but the elevator idea will allow for some fun scares. I have a few ideas on making the floor seem to move the way it feels on an elevator but what I need now are some ideas on how to make a button light up when you push it for an elevator ride. Let me know if you have any ideas on how to do this or any ideas on how to make the elevator room seem more realistic in general. Thanks so much!

Go old-school and include an "operator." Like in the old days. THIS should give you some ideas.
Good luck.

I know this may be a bit much, but I've thought about flat screen TV's at one side and maybe a top, to create like a mine shaft and have the video make the scene travel up/down. Kind of like a flight simulator. Then walk around an old mine scene once you get down to that level.
Maybe someday, but a dream to have at one haunt.
