was browsing the 'net, and found a site selling flying paper lanterns in the shape of jack o'lanterns - you light a candle or other heat source, and they fly high in the air.....

has anyone had experience with, or used this type of device before??

Supposedly will fly on a provided fuel source, are fireproof, and will fly for 12 minutes and go as high as a mile.....

Not sure how big they are, but might be kinda fun....I live out in the sticks, and they could be seen for miles......

those seem totally awesome. depending on the fuel source though, they seem like they might be a fire hazard if you live in a highly flammable place like I do....
How many days do I have left?

I'll see about posting something once it arrives....I don't think I can post a video, but at least a review of the thing....it comes with its own heat source, but after that's used up, will need to find something different.....lookiing forward to playing with the damn thing.

    Scruffy -

I remember, when I was a kid, would read about people making UFO out of dry cleaner bags and candles, then setting them aloft. Never seen it done, but same principle.

We must be sorta close - I am just over the 1,000 Islands Bridge in upstate NY. Not sure when Orangeville is in relation to me, but can't be that far, all things considered....
