    Hello everyone!

Let me be the first to admit that I have an obsession. Actually, it's more like a sickness, only without the potential hope of medication. I am tortured by my obsession... almost mocked by it. I cannot escape it. I cannot deny it. I'm forced to go through life nurturing it, aiding it. I must continue on, revolting myself and those around me. Such is my existence with the sickness. Such are my sins without penance.

Friends, I'm obsessed with Halloween decorations!! Admission is the first step, right?!

I'm starting to come up with ideas for this year and I have decided to make a living dead doll display. I've been searching all of the thrift stores for baby dolls and other bits & pieces. I was SO thrilled to find a plastic rocking cradle and 6 baby dolls for a mere $4! Already had most of the paint so this is going to be quite an inexpensive project. I only wish I had the know-how to make them move Anyway, I put the finishing touches on my first attempt last night and I was SO excited with how she turned out.

    Let me know whatcha think...

Lovely paint job! Her dress is too clean and neat for my taste, tho.

Check around the forum using the search function (button up on the right) and look for doll and motor (or both) and you'll find quite a few wonderful ideas on the boards... I do recall several dead/demon dolls and even some with movement!

Hmmm... good point! I'll definitely work on messing up their clothes once I get all of the dolls painted. I'll have a look through the boards for some more ideas. Thanks so much for your input!

Looking at this I'm starting to think dolls are more creepy than clowns.

Both are extremely creepy in their own way! But the dolls definitely have the edge for me!

That is really awesome...love the paint job. I want to use doll heads on top of candlesticks or a candelabra. I can only hope to do as good of a job on the painting as you did!

Karrien yes the first step is Admission.....the next step is to ignore it lol! What an adorable baby! You did such a great job on the painting and I also agree there is something really freaky about possessed dolls for me more than clowns. Looks like I have to make a trip to the goodwill store.
