has anyone tried to have 2 air compressors running into one line with a y adapter into a reservoir tank to keep an adequate amount of air plus itll fill the two tanks up faster i think? or will it overload the smaller compressor because the bigger compressor will build up pressure quicker?

You will need check valves on those if you do that. You don't want the pressure from both tanks going into the other. If you keep the same pressure on both tanks you should be fine. I would strongly suggest you get check valves anyway just in case.
I think it's overkill though. I have 2 compressors and 5 aux tanks and 9 pnuematic props and it's more then enough. One compressor (30 gallon) runs 6, the other(7gallon) runs 3. Probably could add 10 more before a hiccup.

If one compressor has a higher output pressure than the other it will close the check valve and render the lower pressure compressor pretty much useless until it reaches its output pressure. The lower psi compressor will fill faster though. To overcome this you could regulate the higher psi so both are producing the same output psi. Hope this helps.
