This is the tombstone I just finished for my oldest daughter. She owns a Cockatoo so I thought this epitaph was fitting..My question is, do you think the bloody eye in the raven's mouth is too much? Would it look better without it? Tell me what you think.. Thanks!

I like the bloody eye. I think it absolutely fits in with the verse on the tombstone.

I like it!

The bird won't be immediately noticed in your display, and the eyeball is a subtle detail... it looks obvious and draws the eye (pun intended
) to it because you're looking at it critically after just finishing the prop. In a full setup with lighting, it will blend in and be a surprise to those that spend a minute or two looking at your display.

I really like it. Its subtly gross.
You may not notice what's in the birds beak from afar.... but then you come up on it get a closer look and.... oh gawd!

Oh Yeah! It all fits together. Wish I had thought of it.

Detail is awesome.. Definitely leave the eye! I read the epitaph first and then saw the crow and the hanging eye and it totally added to the entire thing
Awesome!
