Last night in between deep and light sleep it came to me .... "Dueling Banjo Zombies".
I would like the hands to move and maybe the head or body a little and to music of course. This is beyond my basic skills (I'm assuming servo's and boards are required).
Can anyone point me in the right direction on where to learn about making this happen ?
Oh BTW, I also "Dreamed" up a "Zombie Blues Brothers" Display. Man, what a good nights sleep!
These two if done right could be awesome!

I'm adding a banjo player to my pirate band this year. I'll use one of those cralling skeleton hands for the picking hand. I'll post pics when I get to it. Banjos are scary.

Well you could use small cylinders if you are not servo inclined. Smaller bore cylinders with a throw of 1-2 inches would do well in neck and hand motion. Easy to mount to PVC pipe and pretty cheap. I bought 5 for $10 bucks on ebay. Now if that still is too advanced then you could use wiper motor for the neck and hands but it comes at an expense of the same motion over and over.

Beacon, sorry didn't check the link. I think he just used a servo and connected a light weight hand to it. To make it play I'm not sure but I think he might of used one of those boards that coverts audio into servo motions, like the talking skulls use. there are several available now. check out Cowlacious cowlacious.com, and frightideas.com
