I have some "free" time on my hands build wise (I'm waiting for the costume to come in to complete my witch crash). So, I decided to modify my very first build of the year. It's not that I wasn't happy with the original, I just learned alot since then and applying those new things would make him even better.

I pretty much copied him from one I seen on Dave Lowe's Blog. I'm amazed at how he makes a cheap blucky look so good. It was that picture that got me "hooked on Blucky's" so to speak.

Here is my Ground Breaker as he looked when I finished him in January

Here is the updated version. I adjusted the arms and thumbs. I made the torso and head off at a slight angle and added some Spanish Moss.

Yes that is a regular Blucky. The only thing I did was to make him new hands with Crayola Model Magic and use a dresser knob as his eye ball.

That groundbreaker looks outstanding. I like when they have kind of a cartoonish quality to them.
    Great job!

EXCELLENT WORK! Makes the original prop look totally different! I like the moss/gauze throughout the joint areas. Excellent work again!

Very nice! The new position of the hands and arms makes him look much more threatening, like he is moments away from reaching out and making a grab for you!

It always surprises me the big affect little changes can make some times. This is why it is so important for us to share our techniques and inspire each other in this forum, don't you think?
